New Year's Eve is sure to be an exciting way to end 2011! The movie is full of star like Abigail Breslin, Zac Efron, Lea Michele, Jake T. Austin, Sara Paxton, and more.

The movie, like 2009's Valentine's Day, revolves around several people whose lives intertwine on New Year's Eve in New York. For example, Abigail's character Hailey wants to spend New Year's Eve out and about in the city, but her mom (Sarah Jessica Parker) thinks she's too young, while Zac's character Paul is trying to help a lady (Michelle Pfeiffer) complete all her new year's resolutions before the new year rings in.
New Year's Eve hit theaters December 9. Watch the extended trailer below:

Selena Gomez, who anchored the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show last month and the MuchMusic Awards in June, has a new project on her hands -- hosting the MTV Europe Awards. "I'm so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMAs," Selena says. "It's a dream come true."

This year's MTV Europe Award nominees include: Lady Gaga (in the lead with six nominations), Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Adele, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber.
The 2011 MTV EMAs will take place in Belfast, Ireland on November 6.

Selena Gomez had already found fame as an actress on her hit Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, plus a string of family-friendly movies, when her debut album, Kiss and Tell, went gold. Her music career has propelled the teen sensation even farther into the stratosphere: Her follow-up album, A Year Without Rain, also went gold, and ‘Who Says’, the lead single off her third album When the Sun Goes Down, hit platinum. With backup band the Scene, she was nominated for a Best Push Act EMA in 2010.

As if her TV, film, and music work wasn’t enough to keep her busy, the multitasking 19-year-old also finds time for humanitarian work: She is a UNICEF goodwill ambassador. And she has received quite a bit of goodwill from her fans: She won the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite TV Actress in 2010.

Selena to Host 2011 MTV EMA

Selena Gomez has been confirmed as the host of the 2011 MTV EMAs.
Acting as host for the main show, Gomez will be overseeing all the onstage antics, performances, winners and unforgettable moments of the evening.
Selena will also be helping out on the digital front, juggling several duties to engage with EMA fans all over the world, from checking Twitter to sharing behind-the-scenes gossip .
Speaking of her new role, the 19-year old star stated: "I'm so excited to be the host of the '2011 MTV EMA' – it's a dream come true!" Gomez added: "This is such a huge event that always recognises the biggest stars in music from across the globe, so it's a real honour to be MC at this year's show."

BFFs Selena Gomez and Jennifer Stone recently caught up with Texas newspaper Star Telegram to chat about their upcoming TV movie, their friendship and music. Check out what they had to say:
Jennifer on her friendship with Demi Lovato and Selena: “We have cohesive personalities, so that helps with any friendship. But also, when you’re that far away from home, you want to be around something that reminds you of the place that you miss. So whenever I’m around Selena, we always talk about home, and it’s nice to be with somebody that gets that.”
Selena on her upcoming album, Kiss & Tell: “I wanted to make sure that my music was going to be fun, and that my kid audience and my teen audience and even their parents could enjoy listening to it. I’m no Christina Aguilera or Kelly Clarkson, and I know that, so I just wanted to make sure my music was fun.”
Both on Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie: We got to go hiking in the rain forest. We had amazing food, they have a great beach, we went Jet Skiing. It was really beautiful. It was really nice just soaking up the culture. We tried to go to beach-side dinners as much as possible, because we’re both huge beach people.”
Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie premieres THIS Friday, August 28th @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Selena Gomez promoted her new clothing line Dream Out Loud, based around her fashion on her Disney television show ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’, at One Marylebone conference center in London, England on Wednesday (April 7). “I love clothes so I’m not a specific designer girl,” Gomez said in an interview with ITN’s Fashion411. “I love finding pieces I can make my own and accesorize with and I’m very simple when it comes to things like that.”

OMG! Is Justin Bieber planning on marrying Selena Gomez?

Here comes the....Bieber bride?! Not just yet...but Justin is talking marriage already! In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, JB said he hopes to marry young. "I'm not looking to get married now," he explained. "Well, by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family. I want to be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do -- to be successful, to do a movie or whatever. But if the time is right, I definitely want to be married by 25."

Since Justin is 17, that means he plans on getting married 8 years--wowza!
